Our history
The 3 founders of Best Family Rwanda (from right to left Salomon, Jean Claude and Emmanuel).
Bended together as teenagers, after loosing family members in the 1994 Genocide against Tutsi. They shared their resources with each other and other youth and together found Confident Hope. They decided to make BFR an official Organization and becoming bigger every year.
Today BFR serves hundreds of children and their families in Kigali and out.

Best Family Rwanda (BFR) is a Rwandan Nonprofit organization registered under Rwandan Law with No73/RGB/NGO/2017
Best Family Rwanda (BFR),We provide financial,spiritual and moral support to
vulnerable children in Rwanda.
BFR focuses on providing comprehensive care, which can include providing school fees, school supplies, fostering friendships and promoting children’s well-being through its 6 pillars.

Best Family Rwanda exists to be a voice, advocate and support the orphaned and vulnerable children in Rwanda.
Proverbs 32:9-10 Speak up for those who cannot speak for themselves, for the rights of all who are destitute. Speak up and judge fairly; defend the rights of the poor and needy.” BFR decided to be a voice of voiceless,to stand for vulnerable children in Rwanda, to defend their rights and strive for their best future lives.
Our Vision
Our vision is to ensure that every child in Rwanda is protected and getting basic needs for his/her best future life.
BFR Branches
BFR in its efforts to help and reach out to its beneficiaries in need, we meet them where they are, and set up our office consisting of 2 employees who work everyday, in order to facilitate our beneficiaries to receive BFR services easily, without having to transport and go far. And in all these activities of opening branches and selecting the most vulnerable, BFR collaborates with local authorities from the sector to the village.This has led BFR to expand its activities to four (4) sectors of three (3) districts, namely:
1. BFR Gikondo Branch in Kicukiro District, Kigali City:
BFR Gikondo Branch is the first branch where BFR started its activities, and it is also where BFR’s headquarters is located.
2. BFR Kinyinya Branch in Gasabo District, Kigali City:
This is the second BFR branch established in Kinyinya in 2013, with the aim of assisting and reaching out to our beneficiaries in the Genocide Survivors Village in Gasharu Cell, as well as other vulnerable people in Gasharu and Murama Cells.
3. BFR Nyarugunga Branch in Kicukiro District, Kigali City:
This is the third BFR branch established in Nyarugunga in 2014, with the aim of assisting and reaching out to our beneficiaries in the War Disabled Veterans Village in Kamashashi Cell, as well as other vulnerable people living in Kamashashi Cell.
4. BFR Gahengeri Branch in Rwamagana District, Eastern Province:
This is the fourth BFR branch established in 2019, as part of BFR’s plan to expand its operations in rural areas outside Kigali, with a special focus on the most vulnerable.
